In Bronte, from November 24 to January 6, 2013, you can visit the permanent exhibition of cribs. For several years the Socio Cultural Association Pro hermitage – contemplation and fraternity, has set up a permanent exhibition of more than 250 nativity scenes from around the world, in the premises of via Cardinal De Luca 49, to promote the taste of religious art as widespread in world. Among all the cribs, noteworthy and of great artistic value are: the one in Naples, to cotton, to chocolate, one moving, one in papier-mâché of Puglia and those of the greatest artists of Sicily. The exhibition is open from the last Sunday of November up to January 06, every day (by reservation), in the morning for school groups and the afternoon for groups and families. An opportunity to visit the Municipal Gallery, whose visit is free (opening hours 9:00 to 1:00pm and 3:30pm to 6:30pm). You can also spend time in the city park near the cribs, visit some churches of Bronte and buy local products pistachio, along the main street.
